I like the politicking, but what I really like is the level of subtlety that not only makes the reader feel intelligent (even with a provided explanation) but the fact that the subtlety tells us more about the culture of laokoth than words ever could.

Is it going to turn out that he is actually one of the body doubles and not the actual crown prince? Or is it that a faction of the court is trying to manipulate matters and replace him with one of his doubles? I imagine these measures are effective at keeping any would be assassins guessing at which is the real prince, but if the king and court havent seen So Ga since he was a boy would they even recognize his pretender?
