You had practical advice and information that had helped me rethink my approach to trying to write.
Im not trying to write a novel, but I have ideas and stories I want to develop for a comic book. I tried to get some writers to help; it wasn’t “my story.”
I loved watching your writing advice videos from your channel. So when I came here to check out your story I was completely hooked after the first chapter! I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the artist that drew your beautiful cover? <3
I'm not completely satisfied with the current cover and I'm looking into having it redone. When I do I will absolutely provide the artist's information!

I’m very sorry but this novel seems confused. It seemed to be a Western take on a Wuxia novel without the things that make that a Wuxia novel (underdog protagonist, class struggle, realistic setting) but doesn’t have enough magic to be a Xianxia novel. Also the language is not amazing; “The air had recieved a sugary sweet smell?” I’d recommend researching the genre you’re trying to emulate before getting this published and hiring an editor. Otherwise you’ll be condemned to genre in-betweeness and the clunky prose won’t help.
AI is a scourge on mankind. But as your video How Modern Schools Make Terrible Writers (Deliberately) shows, it is just the next step in the process. Thank goodness I predate "critical literacy" and learned to read for the pure pleasure of it.
My 2 lists of writers who have declared they don't use AI in their writing (which is getting trickier to avoid by the day):
I got to say part of me almost hates you for opening my eyes the way you did in your Youtube videos. I'll never be able to read a book, watch a movie or TV show or play a video game again without seeing these things you have taught me. So while I am the better for it, I find it hard to thank you. But perhaps I will be better at discerning the art I choose to enjoy in the future and can thank you then. In the mean time I do plan on reading your book.

Not yet. I will be getting it ready for print as soon as the serialization is done, though!
