We have been wading deeper and deeper into the far side of the pool and hit the drop off into the mystical realm. A chance encounter with the Wild Hunt. I enjoyed the worldbuilding in this chapter. I now know more and far less than before.

Agreed! The more we find out the less we know, or as Min La puts it, “I don’t know very much and I understand less.” :D

Marvelous world building!

I really like your choice of the word “dreth.” It combines the sounds and associations of the words dread, dreck and death. That reminds me of how C. S. Lewis named his demons for the Screwtape Letters.

I like how they're called níothrim and not mortals, a nice linguistic detail, since the Romans do not exist here! There's a real sense of a larger world that exists in the background, which is exactly the kind of thing that fantasy needs more of, and arguably, is the soul of true fantasy.

I was giggling mid lecture at So Ga's identity almost being found out 😂 these two are really bad at hiding their identities.. they literally wear them on their neck?!!

I guess it shows just how important those medallions are to them.

Wonderful! This chapter reminded me the elven kingdoms of Tolkien's Beleriand.

I notice that he doesn’t specify which one is the future king of Laokoth. Foreshadowing or am I overthinking it?

Mrs.Layne is there a chance you may justify the content as justified rather than aligned to the left? Only now, so entrancing is this tale, have I noticed it bothers me.

I'm sorry, this site only allows left justification. There are no other options except for headers.

Unfortunate, but it shall not deter me from catching up to the latest releases.

Min La taking out of So Ga's food is going to be hard habit to kick after all of this over
